We Are Dugan.
Adam Hunsicker, Author
Married to Nicole, without whom my existence as I currently know it would not be possible, we have two boys, Carson and Brody. None of them love music as much as I do, which makes their support that much more appreciated and completely undeserved. I love them so.
I assume my life has been pretty standard for a middle class white man in America. From my viewpoint, I know admittedly little of the current and daily injustices faced by people of color in our nation. I know much less the horrors faced by their grandparents and beyond them.
My hope is people will see I desperately want to know more about those who have had a different experience than I, and through the lyrics I write, others will be motivated to move in a direction of learning about our differences and their origins, so that we may have a hope of mending them. Together.
I’m also completely aware that there are a lot of words surrounding this issue, and the words in my music may be lost, or fizzle out. So I’ll plug this here:) Combating injustice in a sustainable way is important to me, as far as my context has allowed. If it’s an important issue for you too, consider checking out Carry 117, an organization I have volunteered with for a couple years now. They are doing good work in this world.
From my heart, thank you for listening to our music and our words. Please be kind to each other.

I’ve never thought of myself as a person with a voice. My entire career in music has been spent helping others achieve their dreams and desires. For me, that was enough.
I have a wife named Melissa and we have 4 kids together. To be half of Dugan is a realization that there’s something inside of me that I want to express to the world. My hope is that together we achieve that.
